words to think about

i havent been on here for a while
basically because i feel iam out of things to talk about
i have become very frustrated with my job status
i really didnt think it would be this hard
but o well. 
God has a plan and that is what i need to realize. 
so i have had a crappy attitude lately. 
tonight i was browsing the internet... (of course)
and i found this

this is the total truth
and something that i really need to remember right now
i tend to be a total day dreamer.
and one of my "strengths" is futuristic
so yes, i think about the future way tooooo much!
and yes it tends to be a problem
i love to think that some day we will have tons of money and our children will be popular and happy!
WOW i can not believe i just admitted that
but yeah...that is the truth!
so instead of focusing on what i dont have i need to remember that i am so lucky to have what i do have.  and remember to thank God for that every single day.  instead of wishing he would give me so much more.  



now iam not really one to be into total mushy stuff...but my stumble account brought me to this quote tonight and i thought it was fitting....

"“So it’s not gonna be easy. It’s gonna be really hard. We’re gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day....."
and it just made me smile...because it isnt always easy, i wish things were, but reality is they aren't.  but the journey is well worth it.  

i seem to be in the quote mood right now...so here is another to think about

well since i do not have a job, my life revolves around this home

so what i do in a day -
basically iam focused on keeping G and tate from fighting.
it seems that they are having a bad week
they can probably sense that iam frustrated
so they are acting out.
so they pester eachother all day long until they are both so tired that they fall asleep for hours.
those are my peaceful times

man it is like i have kids!
that being said.  they really are my kids and iam proud of them

this is G's new favorite hobby. she loves whipping taters bed around like it is a dead animal

she is also in love with taters bed...

she curls up on it, even though she has her own bed that fits her size

dont worry it is not like G stole the bed from tate.  this is the only time tate ever used the bed.  this was the first weekend we had her. after she got like 6 shots. she was exhausted and i put her in the bed.

well i have had some requests for pictures of this house iam living in
i felt uncomfortable posting them on facebook because of the living situation we are in
so i figured this is safer

i got my new SD card today so now i can take better pictures on my GOOD camera.

past couple days....

in the past days i have felt pretty crappy
1) having no job is really getting to me
2) i have been easily annoyed
3) the animals are driving me insane
4) nothing has seemed to work as i have planned

but really those are all stupid excuses
and i have been working on my attitude
this morning was a good break
me and mr D went on a walk when he got home from work at 6:30am.
there is something about being out that early that is relaxing
G went with us...which made it her first walk
he was cracking me up
we have had a TON of rain the last 2 weeks.
so there is sitting water everywhere
we had no idea to what extent G would love the sitting water
she was jumping like a bunny through it

we had her on a short leash which proved to be a bad idea when we got to the pond. 
she got out on a culvert pipe and then decided to jump in
well the leash was not long enough so she got in the air then came flying back from the force of the leash

it was scary....but lets be honest...it was HILARIOUS
i was cracking up
after which we took her to some bigger puddles...she loved it and she was soaking wet when we got home.

i am pretty excited for the next couple days...tomorrow i am picking up some furniture that i special ordered from kansas (HA that sounds so special....really iam not even sure what it looks like, except for the fuzzy cell phone pictures i recieved.  so we will see)  and then iam going to the thrift store and then friday iam GARAGE SALING!!

 i applied for a job at state farm...AND went in for a pre interview test...so i figure this was a BAD sign

so this was it.  HA iam sorry but this just cracked me up.  sorry but never got such a nice(?) rejection letter.

well...i havent been here for a while. 
i have been "busy"  HA compared to what i had been...i guess i have been busy!
so first off to update my photo challenge

 the majority of this week was spent at baseball games for Mr d's younger brother.  He is 14 and on an aau team and a babe ruth team, this weekend was spent in des moines playing 6 games and winning the tournament!!!

this is cute little collin (a boy on T's team) it was his birthday today and we gave him a present

pie to the face...sadly he got suspicious while we were singing and took his goggles and hat off.

well there it is.  that is the fast wrap of what has been happening. 
it has been fun/stressful all at the same time

i can honestly say that today iam annoyed and tired. 
i am very happy to be going to bed soon and starting a new day and week tomorrow.

i am still jobless..but i did have a interviewish type thing.  HA. we will see what comes of that.

i know i already posted something today...but iam feeling...odd

here is the honest truth -  there has been alot going on the last couple days.  and i have not been in the mood to blog.

but today was the my graduation party.  so now i can relax a bit!

G is tuckered out tonight

yes my hubs loves me.  and the next day he bought more!  YAY

the pond up the road flooded so we had a river running through our yard for a while

wow i can not believe that i have not posted since sunday.
this week has FLOWN by!!!

i applied for 4 more jobs today.  so that is...thrilling.

G has been a bundle of energy. 
she has had more accidents now...of course.  but i forgive her.
i feel so bad when i yell at her.
cuz she is so darn cute.
but i know i need to keep her in line.
i think the limping is getting better.  just depends how hard she plays!

they still are not friends...to say the least.
but i think there is more progress. 
its only bad when G actually notices tate.
if she does notice then tate doenst mind her.
